Children's Ministry
Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3-5) and are always welcome at Immanuel Baptist Church. We take seriously the scriptural command to teach our children scripture and model an authentic faith in front of them (Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:6-9). We engage children with scripture through interactive Bible studies, crafts, and activities all aimed at providing our children with a foundational knowledge of scriptureso that they may be “wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” 2 Timothy 3:14-15. We partner with parents by sending home information about the materials we cover in class that includes tips on how to engage their children in conversation about what they are learning at church.

Memories of VBS Past

Children's ministry is very important to us at Immanuel Baptist Church. In these early stages of life, children are learning rapidly and building a foundation for their life. What a perfect time to introduce kids to Jesus's love and appreciation for them!

The Bible says to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)." All classes have strong emphasis on Bible content and Bible memory. On Sunday morning at 9:15, we have Sunday School, which plays a crucial role in learning basic Biblical truths. During our 10:30 worship service time, kids go to children's church, where a variety of teaching methods are used to accomodate different learning styles. Kids are rewarded for learning by prizes and positive-affirmation.

KAP class is on Wednesday night at 6:30.

This is an evangelistic and Bible-centered club that lets children learn practical skills for life, like how to be a good friend, what's expected of a family member, and what it means to be saved.

Let us assist you in making our children all God is calling them to be.

In Jesus' Name,
Connie Chandler
